Diane Kay Carr Miller, 66, of Hummelstown, passed away on Tuesday February 9, 2021, unexpectedly at her home.
Born on December 3, 1954, in Conneaut, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Marvin E. and Olive Zeblekivech Carr.
Diane’s passion was for helping children, which she did for 24 years through her job as a pre-school teacher’s aide at Crosspoint United Methodist Church’s nursery school. She was a pillar at Crosspoint United Methodist Church, being an instrumental part of the Crosspoint’s Food Pantry, involved with the Knitter & Crocheters, and helped with vacation Bible School. When she wasn’t volunteering, she loved puzzles, coloring, and spending time with her family.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, William Paul Miller, whom she married on October 4, 1975; two children, Paula M. Gagnon (Nathan) of Montgomery Village, MD, and Kevin C. Miller or Hummelstown; and a brother, Wayne Carr (Sherri) of Valparaiso, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 11 AM in the Crosspoint United Methodist Church, 430 Colonial Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109, with The Rev. David D. Biser, officiating. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery. Viewings will be at Crosspoint United Methodist Church, Monday, February 15, 2021, from 6 to 8 PM and again on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of the service.
