Thomas Reddelien Richards Sr., age 94, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away February 8, 2021. Thomas was born July 4, 1926 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Thomas is survived by his wife Deborah Richards; son Thomas R. Richards, Jr.; and daughter Dawn Marie Johns; brother Douglas Richards; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

An American Patriot, Thomas was a retired WW II Navy Veteran and served in the Pacific Theater. He continued his support of our great country as a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and the American Legion, Post 160 in Smyrna. Thomas was a longtime member of Shiloh Hills Baptist Church and believed in serving his fellow man which he did as a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. Thomas never met a stranger and if you were blessed to meet him you left knowing you had a friend.

A visitation and chapel service for Thomas was held at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A burial with military honors followed the chapel service at Pineridge Memorial Park, Kennesaw, GA.
