Mrs. Doris Aleta Warnock Warren, age 82, of Rome, GA, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021, at a local nursing home.

Mrs. Warren was born in Pennville, GA, on July 14, 1938, daughter of the late Charlie Tom Warnock and the late Lula Mae Worsham Warnock. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Cellie Lee Warren, and by 7 siblings. Mrs. Warren was a retail manager at Claire’s Boutique for many years at their location in Dalton as well as Mt. Berry Square Mall. She was a member of East Rome Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Debra Warren Brewer, Rome; 2 grandsons, Andy Brewer, Smyrna, TN, and Kyle Brewer, Rome; 2 sisters-in-law, Gail Jenkins (Jesse), Rome, and Edna Dunaway, Armuchee; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021, at 3pm in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jackson Davis officiating. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 1pm until 2:15pm at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.
