Benita Virginia Peterson, 81, of Myrtle Beach, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Lower Cape Fear Angel Hospice in Whiteville, NC.
Born in Morristown, TN, Mrs. Peterson was the daughter of the late Benjamin Renfro Stuart and Elizabeth Matilda Stuart. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband for over 50 years, Ronald Peterson; daughter, Diana Lynn and son, Ronald Peterson.
Survivors include her son, Lawrence Peterson and wife Emma of Myrtle Beach; daughter, Leah Dixon of Atlanta, GA; grandsons, James Peterson and his wife Diana of Myrtle Beach; David Peterson of Myrtle Beach; great grandchildren, James Peterson, Jr.; Emily Peterson; sister, Debbie Ann Brown of Nashville, TN; brother, Ambrose Stuart of Morristown, TN.
Per Mrs. Peterson’s request no service will be held and a private family interment will take place.
