Jennifer Jenee Page, age 37, of Glide, Oregon, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2007, as the result of an automobile accident on Little River Road in Glide.

She was born on May 1, 1970, at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno, Nevada. She attended school in Pleasant Valley, Nevada before moving with her family to Sutherlin, Oregon, in 1979. They later moved to Glide, where Jennifer went to Glide Junior High School, the Phoenix School as well as Glide High School, where she graduated in 1988. She then went to the Roseburg Beauty School.

At the age of thirteen, she received national attention and was hailed for her bravery, for saving a young boy from drowning.

Jennifer was united in marriage to Tony Page on July 28, 1989, in Roseburg, Oregon. In 2006, Jennifer went to Umpqua Community College and Lane Community College. She graduated from the dental program with top scholastic honors in her field. She went on to work as a dental assistant in Roseburg.

She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Jennifer was a very kind and loving young woman, who was the type of person who would light up a room as soon as she walked in. She was considered very beautiful by all that knew her, both on the outside as well as the inside. Her family loved her with all their hearts. Jennifer had too many hobbies and interests to list, but she loved the outdoors. Along with her husband and her daughter, Jordan, they enjoyed backpacking, kayaking, boating and hiking. Jennifer was born with Spina-bifida (a congenital birth defect) and although she endured close to 30 surgeries, she didn't complain. She had a wonderful sense of humor and had a razor sharp wit. SHE WILL BE MISSED VERY MUCH!!

She is survived by her husband, Tony Page and her daughter, Jordan Jenee Page, both of Glide. She also leaves her mother, Brenda Norwood and her husband, (Jennifer's adoptive father); Jeptha of Florence, Oregon and her father, John Boatman and his wife, Marilyn of Bandon, Oregon. Jennifer leaves a brother, Mark Boatman and his wife, Karla of Sutherlin and a sister, Dawn Boatman Roberts and her fiancée, Dennis Rogers of Roseburg. Her nieces and nephews are, Brison and Breann Boatman and Damon and Haley Hash.
