Mrs. Glenda Lee Price Bentley, age 84 of North Wilkesboro passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Mountlawn Cemetery with Rev. Peter Parish and Rev. Burt Young officiating.

Mrs. Bentley was born October 26, 1936 in Ashe County to Glenn and Verna Roark Price. She was a member of First Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro. She received the State Award for Central Services at Wilkes General Hospital. She loved her grandchildren, puzzle books, and knitting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Verna Roark Price.

She is survived by her husband, John Bentley of the home; a daughter, Debbie Dancy of Roaring River; two sons, Tommy Barker of Ashe County and Jimmy Barker of Millers Creek; seven grandchildren, James Barker, Tanner Barker, Alex Barker, Roy Grub, Brianne Barker, April Oliber, and Danny King; two great-grandchildren, Jared Dimitte and Trinity Tutterow; a great-great grandson, Dallas Dimmitte; three sisters, Jean Colvard of West Jefferson, Donna Cooper of Mouth of Wilson, Va, and Willagrey Trivette of Trade, TN; three brothers, Doyle Price of Mooresboro, Doug Price of West Jefferson, and Rick Price of West Jefferson.
