Mrs. Clara May Galbraith, 64 years old, a resident of Indianapolis 33 years, died Sunday in her home, 4132 Bowman Avenue.
Mrs. Galbraith and her husband, Cary Galbraith, had just returned from a three-weeks' stay n Monticello where Mr. Galbraith is engaged in a real estate development at Lake Shafer.
Mrs. Galbraith was born in Mohawk in Hancock County, April 26, 1876, the daughter of James F. Reynolds and Jennie Reynolds. She was married to Mr. Galbraith 48 years ago and the couple came to Indianapolis in 1907. They were among the first persons to reside in University Heights. Mrs. Galbraith was active in the University Heights United Brethren Church and the Woman's Missionary Society.
Survivors, besides Mr. Galbraith, are a daughter, Mrs. Maude Newell of University Heights; a granddaughter, Dorothy Newell; two nephews, Chester Curtis and Talmadge Curtis, whom Mr. and Mrs. Galbraith reared, and a brother, Walter Reynolds of Mohawk.
Funeral services will be at 10 o'clock this morning in the church. Burial will be in Mohawk.
