Funeral services for Tillman Leon Parker, age 78, of Winona, were held April 27, 2003 at New Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Owens officiating. Burial was held at New Hope Cemetery in Winona with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Parker died April 25, 2003 at his residence in Winona. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church, a US Army Veteran of WW II and a member of Winona American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor McCoy Parker of Winona; sisters, Lela Mae Austin, Helen Daves and Gladys Allison, all of Winona; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were David Earl Daves, Jason Daves, John Wayne VanHorn, John Michael VanHorn, Paul Allison , and Mike Parker.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church and or Sta Home Hospice.
