Michael Creech
09/08/1951 – 02/05/2021

Michael Creech was pretty extraordinary. He was a super tall guy but a gentle spirit. He loved everybody and he would give the shirt off his back to a stranger if they needed it. He loved Pepsi and football and going to see the Rangers play ball. He loved his family and he loved building things. He collected trains and enjoyed puzzles. In fact, you could often catch him putting them together right in the middle of the living room.

Mike was preceded in death by his Parents, Archie B and Theda Faye Creech of Leonard, Texas and three brothers Larry Don, Baby Jimmy and Dwight Lynn.

He has five siblings. Four brothers; Larry Don Creech, baby Jimmy, Jackie Glen and Dwight Lynn and one sister, Becky Carlene. He had several Nieces and Nephews, Ronnie, Chris and Kelly, Brittnea and Katie, Jeremy and Austin.

He was married to Rebecca Pittman of Van Alstyne in 1981 and this year they were to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Mike and Rebecca had three daughters, Michelle, Jennifer and Stephani; 8 grandkids, Sierra, Ashlie, Rodrick, Cody, Cameron, Mikayla, Aiden and Pyper; and 5 great grandkids, Carly, Carson, Jackson, Emma and Connor.

Mike retired from Grumman Olson and attended the Texoma Regional Police Academy and was Certified as a Police Officer, serving for a short time as a Reserve Police Officer for the Decatur Police Department. Mike later went to work for the Collin County Sheriff's Department and certified as a County Detention Officer. He then worked at and retired from Raytheon as a Non-Commissioned Security Officer.

He was quite the prankster. When a few of the brothers were working at Grumman Olson together, Jack had taken the day off to take the postal exam and didn't end up going. Mike, Dwight and Donnie called Jack pretending to be from USPS and asked if he would like to reschedule. When Jack said "Yes, when can I reschedule?" they said, "When Pigs Fly!" He loved to laugh and joke, he would tease the girls with the Howdy-Doody-Doll or tell them they'd better behave, or they'd be "sleeping in there with the Twonkie."

He loved his pets, CB, Georgia, Benny and Buster the family cat. He was the peacemaker, the one who would always keep us all stuck together, the family glue. Mike was a son, a brother, a husband, a dad, a papa and a friend. Always here to listen or give advice, he taught us so much about life.

We are going to miss you but we know you're seeing Nannie and Papa, Mama Georgia, Uncle Don and Uncle Dwight, most of all, Jesus.

A piece of all our hearts are with you, until we meet again.
