ROCKTON - Dorothy H. Graham, 84, of 31656 Canyon Circle, Evergreen, Col., and formerly of 424 Green St., Rockton, died on May 26, in Evergreen, Col.
She was born on Sept. 3, 1897, in Rockton, the daughter of Luther B. and Eva Cowan Hopkins. She married Harold B. Graham on Nov. 9, 1918, in Rockton. He died on April 15, 1964.
She was an elementary school teacher for 39 years, retiring from Rockton Grade School in June 1973. She attended Beloit College and Whitewater State Teacher's College. She was a member of the Old Stone Church and a former member of the church Dorcas Guild and choir. She was past president of the Rockton Women's Club and was a member of the Rockton Historical Society.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Floye G. Wells of Evergreen, Col. with whom she resided; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters; one sister, Mrs. Edna Manley of Rockton and two brothers, Clinton and Ralph Hopkins, both of Rockton.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Old Stone Church, Rockton, with Dr. James Westpfahl officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Talcott Free Library, Rockton, or the Old Stone Church. Arrangements were completed by the Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Blackhawk Chapel.
