Patsy Shaw, 70, Gosport, died Oct. 14, 2007, at The Waters of Martinsville. Born Feb. 16, 1937, in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Chester Stierwalt and Sarah Arnold. She was a homemaker and had been a cook at Gray Brothers Cafeteria, the Gosport Tavern and the Gosport Nursing Home. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Plano. Survivors include four sons, Dennis Cash of Indianapolis and Ron Cash and Doug and Eric Shaw, all of Gosport; two daughters, Michelle Hogston of Plainfield and Crystal Baker of Little Point; three brothers, Floyd and Ted Stierwalt, both of Martinsville, and Billy Stierwalt of Quincy; two sisters, Gloria Warthen and Lilly Jenkins, both of Paragon; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Everett Lynn Shaw. The service will be 10 a.m. Thursday October 18 at Whitaker Funeral Home in Gosport. The Rev. Nick Robertson will officiate. Burial will be in Mannan Cemetery near Lewisville.
