Doris Louise Lee, 78 of Crestline passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Avita Galion Community Hospital.
She was born in Crestline on August 12, 1942 to the late Lewis and Ruth (Baldinger) Healea. On July 25, 1965, she married Duane Lee and he survives her in Crestline, after 55 years of marriage.
Doris was a 1960 graduate of Crestline High School. She was a Pastor’s wife for 45 years and a foster Mom for 22 years. She enjoyed sewing and quilted and crotched many blankets for the “preme” ward at the OSU hospital. She was an avid reader and liked to bird watch. Doris’s most precious time was spending time with Duane, her best friend, and her grandchildren.
In addition to her loving husband, Doris leaves behind three children to cherish her memories; Lisa (Ron) Hall of Crestline, Lori (Scott) Fintel of Forest, and Bryan (Wendy) Lee of Bucyrus; a brother; Earl (Jenny) Healea of Caledonia; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by two brothers, John Healea and an infant.
The funeral services for Doris will be announced by the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline, OH 44827 when they have been finalized.
