Ernestine Sanders
November 8, 1937 - February 3, 2021

Ernestine Sanders passed away at home, surrounded by her family. She lived in Cleveland, TN for 19 years and was a long-time member of Phillippi Baptist Church. She loved gardening and cleaning house. She worked in the family business delivering film for Van's Photo in the Pensacola, FL area for several years while also raising a family.
Ernestine was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Daniel Everett Sanders; children, Charlotte Dianne Kite, Marjorie Ann Cain, and Danny Ray Sanders; parents, William Ernest Frye and Lena Alice Miller; sisters, Eunice Elizabeth Strother, Alice Katherine Peterson and Mary Savage Miller (Peggy); and brother, Julius Carl Frye.
Ernestine is survived by her daughters, Peggy Louise Cain, Rita Jean Nobles (Max), and Sara Starla Landrum (Mark); sons, Jesse Edward Cain (Jewelle) and Ronald Douglas Sanders; a brother, Howard (Pete) Frye (Virginia); 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; her dog, Macy; and a very special friend, Phyllis Harris (Bob). She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Pallbearers will be grandsons John David Cain McBride, Robert Daniel Landrum, Keith Everett Landrum, John Wesley Kite, Jeffrey Allen Kite, and Jack Henry Kite.
Ernestine's visitation will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10:00 in the morning at Faith Chapel South Funeral Home in Pensacola, FL. A graveside service will follow at Noon at Bayview Memorial Park in Pensacola, FL.
A memorial service will be held at Philippi Baptist Church at a later date.
For the safety of everyone, please honor Ernestine's memory by wearing a mask to the visitation and the graveside service and remembering to social distance.
