Mrs. Z. P. Lang returned Wednesday from attending Miss Elizabeth Paul, two and one-half miles south of town, who has been very ill since Thursday and who died Tuesday evening.
Miss Paul has been in poor health for two years.

ELIZABETH PAUL, Funeral Service Will Be Held This Afternoon
Elizabeth Paul was born May 3, 1860, in Gray county, Ontario, and died on June 24, 1919, at her home in Novesta township, Tuscola county, Mich., aged 59 years.
In 1880 she came with her parents to Michigan and they settled in Novesta township where she resided since that time. About eight years ago she united with the Cass City Evangelical church and was a faithful member. For two years she suffered severely from leakage of the heart, but she was always patient in suffering. Surviving her are three brothers, three sisters, 15 nephews and nieces, and many other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at the home by Rev. A. H. Butzbach on Friday, June 27, at 2:00 p. m. with interment at the Elkland cemetery.
