Craig Marshall Williams, 69, of Cumru Township, died February 8, 2021 at Tower Health – Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading. He was the loving husband of Joan Elaine (Seip) Williams, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage. Born September 1, 1951, in West Reading, he was a son of the late Gerald M. and Marion M. (Kline) Williams.

Craig was a 1969 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. He was employed as an operator with GPU Energy for 14 years, and subsequently, he was employed as head custodian with Governor Mifflin Intermediate School for 16 years, retiring in 2018. Craig was an active member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Reading, where he served as assistant Sunday School Superintendent for a while, was an usher, and helped with maintenance. In his younger years, Craig enjoyed playing baseball and bowling.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his two children: Rebecca E. (Williams), wife of Ryan J. O’Neill of Philadelphia and Matthew C., husband of Rebecca A. (Hirneisen) Williams of Wyomissing. Also surviving are his two grandchildren, Eleri M. O’Neill and Olwen A. O’Neill. Other survivors include his five siblings: Nancy Kreisher of Fleetwood, Sandra Ulrich of Mohnton, Corinne Monighan of Bernville, Sharon Oliviero of Mohnton and Ronald Williams of Mohnton.

Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown.
