COLUMBUS GROVE — Bobby Ray Gray, 80, died at 8:34 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2021, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born June 30, 1940, in Dott, West Virginia, to William Andy and Macie (Carden) Gray.

On August 9, 1976, he married Dorothy Jean Carpenter, who survives in Columbus Grove. Also surviving is step son, Barry A. Watson; his daughters, Sherri A. Jones and Angela S. Meagher; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Barbara Cieszynski and 11 brothers and sisters. Bobby retired from Scot Lad Foods/Roundy's, Lima. He was a member of The Church at Allentown, Lima. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2772, Columbus Grove, and was an avid bowler with the bowling league at 20th Century Lanes, Lima. Bobby had owned and enjoyed riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle and he was a huge New York Yankee and Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 12, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at which time the Service will begin at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastors Neal Whitney, Kelly Waltz and Assistant Rosie Lora will all officiate with burial to follow in Truro West Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church at Allentown, 4900 Allentown Road, Lima, Ohio 45807.
