Paula Joyce Garcia, 80, of Wichita Falls, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021.
The family will receive friends between 5 and 7 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Interment will be at Crestview Memorial Park at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.
Paula was born on July 13, 1940 in Comanche, Oklahoma to the late Paul Peck and Norma Yates Peck. Paula worked many years in the hotel industry. She later retired from McDonald’s where she met many lifelong friends. She was a member of The Red Hat Society, and in 1997, received “Mother of the Year” award. Paula enjoyed traveling to Vegas with her mom, and loved family gatherings.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Viviano Garcia; her son, Michael Gene Garcia; and her great-grandson, Ethan Tyler Frerich.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Nieto and fiancé Danny Ramos; her grandchildren, Bobby Nieto and wife Celinda, Clarissa Frerich and husband R.J., and Jordon Nieto; and her great-grandchildren, Elijah Nieto, Ethan Nieto, Michael Frerich, and Jacob Frerich.
