He was a life-long resident of Des Moines and worked as a custom furniture craftsman, most recently with Specialty Enterprises.
Chris is survived by his wife of 30 years, Laura Kirkpatrick Clark; daughter, Bria Clark of Las Vegas; and children, Matthew and Jennifer Clark; three siblings, A. B. Clark, Walter (Peggy) C. Clark and Jayne (Mike) Gillitzer; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Addison and Freida Clark; and brother, Douglas A. Clark.
A family graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, February 11 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
