Laura Jane James entered eternal rest on January 21, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 79. She was born on November 25, 1941, in Abilene, Texas, to Grover and Ruth Pauline Lollar. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Carlton Dwayne James. Laura Jane is survived by her daughters, Tamara Doty and Shara Joann Ozuna (Rudy); sons, Michael Sean James (Paula) and Christopher Johnathan James; siblings, Gene Lollar (Patricia), David Lollar (Jerri), Sallie O’Carroll (Earl), and Paul Lollar; grandchildren, Ashlynn Long (Thomas), Corey, Natalia, and Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Claire, Piper, and Blake Long; other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM with a chapel service at 12:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
