Charles earned a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering and went on to work for RCA (Thompson Consumer Electronics) as an engineer. On October 11, 1980 he married his beautiful red-head wife,Sandra (Harriman), and they spent the next 40 years together. Charles was a die-hard University of Kentucky fan, especially of their basketball team, he also followed the Indianapolis Colts and NASCAR racing. He was a family man and truly loved his role as “Opa” to all his grandchildren. Charles will be greatly missed by many family and friends.
Charles is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughters, Christina (Michael) Dyson, Karen Watson and Charlotte (Terryll) Holt; sister, Rebecca (Randy) Bradley; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, with burial to follow.
