Joe worked as an 18-wheel truck driver, most recently for Fay Trucking Company. When he wasn’t trucking, he enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR, watching the Red Sox, and spending time fishing.
Along with his parents, Joe was predeceased by his brother, Phillip Conway.
He is survived by his two sons, Steve and Jeff Riel; two brothers, James Conway and wife Leah, and Paul Conway and partner Greg Baker; three sisters, Barbara Schulte and husband Tom, Cindy Conway, and Grace Conway; three grandchildren; eleven nieces and nephews; nine great nieces and nephews; as well as his beloved dog Sadie.
SERVICES: Services will be held privately. Burial will be at Greenvale Cemetery in Greenfield at a later date.

The driver, identified as 60-year-old Nashua, New Hampshire resident Joseph E. Conway, was headed westbound on I-80 when he exited the roadway's right side, according to the WHP release. He then overcorrected to the left, causing the vehicle to leave the road a second time and overturn.
Conway was wearing a seatbelt and transported to the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Driver fatigue or a possible medical condition is being investigated as potential contributing factors.
This-is the 11thfatality on Wyoming's roadways in 2021 compared to 5 in 2020, 14 in 2019, and 6 in 2018 to date.
