Son of Asa and Susanna Willard Pierce, twin to Martin, he married Almina Adams in April of 1829 and they had six children before her death in 1852, Amelia B: 1830-D: 1886, Cornelia B: 1831-D: 1877, Asa E. B: 1836-D: Infant, Sylvester B. B: 1838-D: 1839, Lucy B: 1840-D:(after 1880 Census, last one she was on) and Mason Willard B: 1845-D: 1912. Mason was a farmer and he moved to Hannibal, N.Y., from Vermont, in the 1820's. After his wife's death he moved to Red Creek, N.Y. where he met and married Rebecca Griswold Easton, a widow. They lived out their years in the Red Creek and Wolcot, Wayne Co. area of New York.
Mason's actual Grave site is unknown, since he died in the Red Creek area this Memorial was established as a place of Remembrance.
