Charles McLaughlin, age 83, of New Martinsville, WV passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Wetzel County Hospital.
He was born June 12, 1937 in New Martinsville, WV, the son of the late Frank and Effie (Anderson) McLaughlin.
He was a retired laborer and loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Smith McLaughlin; four sisters, Wilma Powers, Mary Cross and Nettie Richard and Verna Gray; three brothers, Lloyd, William and Thomas McLaughlin.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Ray McLaughlin and Allen (Amy) Scott McLaughlin both of New Martinsville, WV; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brother, Clifford McLaughlin of Sistersville, WV; sister, Shirley McLaughlin of New Martinsville, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory 751 Third St. New Martinsville with Rev. Bruce Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow in Palmer Cemetery, Proctor, WV.
