Ernest R. Clark, 102, of Greenville, passed away on Friday morning, January 15, 2021 at Quality Life Services - Mercer, PA.

He was born in Delaware Twp., on January 13, 1919 to the late Lewis P. and Katherine (Beil) Clark.

Ernest was a Sergeant in the US Army Air Force and retired from Westinghouse Electric Corporation.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, and attended the Greenville Alliance Church.

Ernest is survived by his wife of 79 years, Erma I. (Humphrey) Clark. They were married on September 18, 1941 at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Fredonia. Also surviving are: a daughter, Bonnie Hoffman and her husband, Ronald, of Greenville; two foster daughters, Nancy Redfoot and her husband, Donald, of Greenville, and Janet Vunora and her husband, James, of Newnan, GA; two grandchildren, Aaron Hoffman of Hadley, and Kara Turlij and her husband, Mark, of Hadley; three great grandchildren, Erica Hoffman, Braydan Turlij, and Gavin Turlij; a great-great granddaughter, Rayna Cross; four great nieces, Cindy Hernandez and her husband, Joe, Debra Mowry and her husband, Doug, Melinda Stephey, and Dawn Cummings and her husband, Chris; and two great nephews, Keith Redfoot, and James Vunora. Being the youngest of eight children, he is also survived by several nieces and nephews who were all very important to him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: four brothers, Richard Loyd Clark, Harold Clark, Clayton Clark, and Laverne Clark; and three sisters, Genevieve McDowell, Esta Javens, and Josephine Mitchel.
