LTC Clinton L. Williams Jr, US Army Retired
Clint was born November 4, 1931 in Guntown, MS. He passed peacefully with his family by his side on February 4, 2021 in Indianapolis, IN. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Mississippi State and his Masters from University of Southern Mississippi and was very active in ROTC. In 1954, he joined the U.S. Army as active duty. He moved his family to various locations in the U.S. and overseas to Germany. He also served two tours in Vietnam. His final transfer was to Ft Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, IN where he retired from active duty military in 1975 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was still young enough to start his second career, so he went into real estate. He became an agent with Carpenter Realtors and quickly moved up the ranks to Managing Broker of his own office after the bosses saw his potential. He officially retired again in 2009 and stayed in Indiana. He was active in the Bulldog Club of America and president Bulldog Club of Indiana for many years . He was successful in showing and breeding English Bulldogs. Clint was loving, hardworking, strict, stubborn and helpful to anyone but most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Jean Wilson Williams, three children Don, Terri and Tracy (Justin); seven grandchildren Rob (Amy), Zack, David (Kasey), Clinton, Kevin (Jen), Liberty and Loki. He also is survived by five great grandchildren: Dawson, Myles, Reagan, Lincoln and Eva.
The public is invited to the viewing at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN on Tuesday February 9, 2021 from noon to 3:00 pm with Military honors at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Larue Carter Children’s Fund in memory of Clint Williams at 5222 S East St, Suite B-2, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
