Covode, Edward R.
Edward was the third child and son born to Jacob and Minerva Cavode of Sharpsburg.
His father died when he was 10 years old, and he continued to live at home.
He supported his mother by working in a local glass house.
He died as he approached 20 years of age. The cemetery interment records give no indication of cause of death. He died in Sharpsburg and was interred on July 12, 1882 in the family plot. Edward also has an individual tombstone, simply marked Edward, but a tree has totally encompassed it.
