Taylor Parker services held March 29

Services for Taylor Parker were conducted Thursday, April 1 from the Chapel of Lee Funeral Home with Rev. R. L. Ellis and Rev. J. A. Wade officiating.

Mr. Parker succumbed March 29 at the Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Montgomery County, December 16, 1897.

Mr. Parker is survived by two daughters, Wanda Joy Parker and Peggy Parker both of Meridian; three sons, Talmage Parker with the U. S. Army, Ray Parker and Lavern Parker of Meridian; six sisters, Mrs. Nobia Adams, Meridian, Mrs. Annie Bell Bailey of Duck Hill, Mrs. Susie Shirley of Vaiden, Mrs. Odell Thompson of Hattiesburg, Miss Blanch Parker of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Ruby Whisnant of Jackson; three brothers, Tillman Parker of Winona, William W. Parker, Jr. of Duck Hill and John P. Parker of Winona.

Pallbearers were Leon Parker, Gene Shirley, Howard Shirley, Brooks Parker, Earl Bailey and Hoyt Shirley.

Interment was in the New Hope cemetery under the direction of Lee Funeral Home.
