Memorial services were held 6 PM, Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Adam Young officiating.
Mr. Hill was born February 18, 1955, in Arizona, to the late Edward Roland Hill, Jr. and the late Elizabeth Whittle Hill. He worked as a production line manager and mechanic at Deep South Products for 35 years. He later worked as a corrections officer for CCA Corrections in McRae and the Irwin County Detention Center in Ocilla. He loved fishing and hunting and enjoyed listening to country music.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Teresa Hill of Fitzgerald; son and daughter-in-law: “Eddie” Edward Roland Hill, IV & Brooke of Fitzgerald; two grandchildren: Brookelyn Hope Hill and Edward “Roland” Hill, V; a sister, Holly & Richard Hynes of Lagrange, Kentucky; and a brother, Jeff & Margarita Hill of Summerville, South Carolina.
