David Ross McGhee, 73, of Midlothian, Va. passed peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father, Stafford T. McGhee; and mother, Clara S. McGhee. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly McGhee Barley (Jerome); son, Forrest McGhee (Adila); grandchildren, Symone Black, Asia Black, Maya Barley, Faris Annuar, Fauzan Annuar, Faiz Annuar; and great-grandchildren, Londyn Black and Layla Boehringer; and sister, Shirley Wilson.
David spent his life enjoying painting peaceful scenes, traveling, and collecting coins and other various items. In his early days, he was the youngest licensed electrician in the state of Virginia.
He was an entrepreneur and owned several businesses throughout his life.
