She was a graduate of Canton Senior High School and Lincoln Land Community College. She was employed as a Methods and Procedures Advisor II for the Illinois Dept. of Human Services. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab at Prairie Heart Institute. She also was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1988. She was an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and an avid quilter.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Pauline E. Bacon in 1965 and her father: Arthur J. Harmon, Jr. in 2005.
She is survived by her two sisters; one brother, and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation accorded by Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Memorial Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with Rev. Msgr. Kevin Vann celebrant. Inurnment at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
