He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a Christian and his faith was important to him as displayed in his interest and support of missions, especially Mission Link International and Samaritan's Purse. Bob worked for LabCorp for 21 years and after retiring he really enjoyed fishing in his spare time and became a member of the Alamance County Bassmasters. He also enjoyed shagging, beach music and being a DJ who was named to the DJ Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Melanie McCormick; son, Marchael Bullard (Carmen); ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Chastain and brother, Donnie Bullard (Mitzi).
