Kevin Michael Barry of Tilghman, died at his home on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. He was 59.
Born on August 31, 1961 in Springfield Mass. He was the son of Margaret Barry and the late Thomas Barry III. He grew up in Acton, Mass and graduated from Norwood High School, in Norwood Mass. After graduating he enlisted in the Marine Corps. He served for 8 years stationed in Japan and Hawaii. Following his release from active duty, he worked as a truck driver, then worked in the Steel Mills in the Philadelphia. He then went to work for the State of Maryland on the Poplar Island replenishment project as a supervisor until 2019 when he retired for health reasons
Mr. Barry enjoyed watching Football, playing poker, and was an avid Boxer in his younger years. His favorite things were to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he loved to fish with.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his Beloved wife; Edna Barry who he married in Tilghman on March 17, 2006, 4 sons; Scott Jones (Jennifer) of Tilghman, Robbie Jones (Shannon) of McDaniel, B.J. Jones (Sandy) of Tilghman, and Stephen Foster (Laura) of Preston. In addition to 6 Grandchildren; Samantha, Colyer, Hudson, Layla, Aiden, and Stephen. One sister; Michelle Barry of Sebring, FL. And one brother; Thomas Barry IV of Simpsonville, S.C.
A viewing will be held on Monday February 8, 2021 at the Framptom Funeral Home- Ostrowski Chapel, St. Michaels from 6:00 to 8:00PM.
Graveside services will be held at the Tilghman Memorial Cemetery at 2:00PM on Tuesday February 9, 2021.
