Angela Michelle Jones, 52, of Knoxville, died at 5:41 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Angie was born March 19, 1968 in Galesburg, the daughter of Barbara Jean Vaughn. She married Dusty Lee Jones, May 26, 1990 in Jacksonville, FL. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2012. Angie is survived by one brother, John (Dawn) Vaughn of Verona, IL; three nieces, Jennifer (Jeff Corbin) Vaughn of Knoxville, Melissa Oeth of Galesburg, and Amy Lewis of Galesburg; three great nephews, Shane Corbin of Galesburg, Jayson Corbin of Knoxville, and Amos Vaughn of Knoxville; and one great niece, Jaycie Oeth of Galesburg. Along with her husband, Dusty, Angie was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Johnson.

Angie enjoyed taking care of people, working as an in home health care assistant for many years. While living in Oklahoma with Dusty, they lived on a small farm and enjoyed their animals. She enjoyed traveling as well as crafting. Angie also leaves behind her beloved dog, Teddy.

Cremation will be accorded. No public services will be held. Private family burial of cremated remains will be at Knoxville Cemetery, Galesburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
