HARRY W. AHN, 89, of Clark, with relatives in MONMOUTH COUNTY, died Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, East Orange. Born Nov. 15, 1917, in Philadelphia, Mr. Ahn lived in Montclair for five years, and resided in Clark for the past 55 years. He worked for the Scientific Flavors Co. of Linden for 10 years before retiring in 1986. He honorably served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant during World War II from 1944 to 1946, receiving the World War II Victory Medal.

He was the beloved husband for 68 years of the late Elizabeth Fagan Ahn, who died in 2004. He was the loving father of Christopher and his wife Marilyn of Oldwick, Paul and his wife Kathy of Locust, and Phillip and his wife Audrey of Colts Neck; and cherished grandfather of five.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with a funeral service at 8 p.m. at Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, kindly offer donations to the VANJ Healthcare System, 385 Tremont Ave., East Orange, NJ 07018.
