Mona Lynn Smith, 53, went to be with her Lord on January 28, 2021 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. On August 19, 1967, Mona was born in Beloit, Kansas to her parents Carl and Hazel Maley. She graduated from Victorville California College with a Bachelors in child care to pursue a career in preschool. Mona fell in love with Timothy Smith, and they were married for over 30 years. She was incredibly loved by her family, and will be dearly missed.

Mona joined a joyful reunion in heaven with her beloved Father, Carl Maley; Mother, Hazel Maley; and her 3 Brothers, Carl Maley, Jr., James Maley, and Thomas Maley.

Survivors include her siblings, Deborah ( Cord) Turner, Brenda Muhlethaler, and David Maley all of Hutchinson, Kansas; 22 Nephews and Nieces; 28 Great Nephews and Nieces; and her beloved pets, Mickey and Pennie.

There will be a memorial service on February 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of God, 704 North Jefferson, Hutchinson, Kansas. Pastor Glen Koster, Sr. will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be sent to Timothy Smith, and left in care of Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas 67501.
