Ann Shaw Blaylock

Mrs. Ann Shaw Blaylock, 86, of Winona, died of heart failure Saturday, July 26, 1997, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

Mrs. Blaylock was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Cincinatti, Ohio. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, AARP, and Business and Professional Women. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Harmon Blaylock.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, at Oliver Chapel with the Rev. David Carroll officiating assisted by Elder Jesse Phillips. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery near Winona.

Mrs. Blaylock is survived by one daughter, Mary Whitmire Bramlett of Winona; two sons, Charlie E. Shaw, Sr. of Westport, Indiana and Robert E. Shaw, Sr. of Winona; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Active pallbearers were Terry Whitmire, Robert Earl Shaw Jr., Martin L. Shaw, Charlie Shaw, Jr., Jake Hamilton and Jimmy Hamilton.

Honorary pallbearers were Ned Blaylock, Herbert Blaylock, Bill Bramlett, Robbie Blaylock, F.O. Alldread, Sam Sykes, James Osborn, Tommy Sykes and Lamar Sykes.

Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
