Mr. Butler was born January 20, 1956 in Mt. Vernon, Georgia. He was the son of the late Joseph B. Butler and Lavada Gillis Butler. He was retired from the City of Dublin where he was the Operator at Wastewater Plant. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Butler passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Butler is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee Butler of East Dublin, a daughter, Renee Durden of East Dublin, a sister, Rosemary B. (Eddie) Self of East Dublin, 4 grandchildren, Chandler Merrell, Hannah Merrell, Haley Merrell, and Holly Merrell, and a niece, LuAnne (Dickie) Barber of Wrightsville.
Pallbearers will be Tony Braziel, Zachary Whipple, Jeffrey Darsey, Blake Soles, Steve Mullis, Maurice Johnson, and Joel Gillis.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Monday, February 8, 2021 at Northview Cemetery.
