Sarah Ann Martin was born on April 15, 1933, in Laurel County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Glen and Dorothy Blanton Williams. She was united in marriage to Joel Martin, who preceded her in death. She is survived by two children, Carman McGee and Gary Martin, four siblings, Tommy and Carl Williams, Delia Hess and Janet McQueen, all of London, four grandchildren, Trever, Whitney, Raylyn and Bellemy, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing. In addition to parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by six brothers, Charles, Kenny, Clayton, Benny, Donnie and George.
She was a homemaker and a member of Lichliter Church of God.
Sarah Ann Martin departed this life at Barbourville Nursing Home on Friday, February 5, 2021, being 87 years, 9 months and 21 days of age.
Funeral services for Sarah Ann Martin will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Charles and Phil Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Lichliter Cemetery at London.
