Kate graduated from Stearns High School, Millinocket in 1992 and from Rivier College in Nashua, NH in 1997. She married Justin Kinney, on September 9, 2004. Kate was employed as a Stock Administrator for Fair Isaac Corporation.
Survivors include her husband and son, Justin and Colin Kinney of San Jose, CA, her mother Diana of Island Falls, ME, her sister Jennifer Daniels and her fiancé Charles Amara of Franklin, MA, her nephew Jared Daniels of Franklin, MA, her grandmother Helena (McKeen) Porter of Island Falls, ME, and mother and father-in-law Larry and Susan Kinney of Crystal River, FL, and sister-in-law Cory Handy of Stoneville, NC. She is also survived by uncles, John (Phyllis) Daniels of Bucksport, Brent (Sherry) Porter, Galen (Joleen) Porter and Frank (Melissa) Porter all of Island Falls. She is also survived by a special cousin Matthew (Michele) Porter of Morrill, ME as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her father, grandfather Galen Porter, Sr., grandparents Dr. William and Frederica Daniels.
