Kristi Rhodes, age 25, died suddenly on 1/30/21.

Kristi lived nearly her entire life in Muncie. She attended Eaton Elementary, where she was twice the school spell bee champion. She attended Delta Middle School for 2 years. While there she excelled in academics, basketball, and track-winning the county meet 100 and 200 meter dashes as a 7th grader. She won the State Hershey games girls 13-14 200 meter dash and standing long jump. She graduated from Muncie Central, attaining induction into the National Honor Society and receiving the co-MVP award for girls tennis her junior year.

Kristi found her happiness in her loving relationship with her long term boyfriend. Together they found their greatest joy in parenting their now 4 year old son, Javar Smith.

In addition to Javar, Kristi is survived by her parents - Greg Rhodes (Muncie) and Dr. Ann Morris (Franklin).She also leaves behind extended family and special family friends that loved her unconditionally.

There will be no services at the present time. The past few years have at times been painful for Kristi and those that supported her. Kristi is now healed and whole again. May each person that knew her remember the goodness within Kristi and happy times shared. One favorite memory is of the preteen who loves horses, riding and her cat Playful. May she now be riding joyfully on her favorite horse Rosie and snuggling with Playful in heaven.
