Janette Kingery Gibson of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Giles A. and Opal M. Kingery; her brother, Kenneth L. Kingery; and brother-in-law, James L. Beheler Sr.

Janette is survived by her loving husband, Billy F. Gibson; her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn Gibson and Tracy; two grandchildren who she adored, Kyle Gibson and wife, Molli, and Ashlyn Gibson and fiancé, Zach Cooper; precious great-granddaughter, Maci Gibson; her twin sister, Janice K. Beheler; brother, Wayne and Deliah Kingery; brother, Randy and Pam Kingery; sister-in-law, Pami L. Kingery; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous “Fur Grand-Babies.”

Janette was a devoted employee of Tultex Mills where she worked in the Sewing Department for 45 years.
She also devoted 35 years to assist her brothers at Kingery Bros. Country Store, but Janette’s true passion was working alongside her twin sister, Janice, on the Roanoke City Market since 1945, where she loved talking and meeting new people. Her other two passions were sewing and baking pies. Janette was a member at Celebration Church of God where she loved her Sunday School Class and spoke of them often.

The Funeral Service will be conducted at 12 noon on Monday, February 8, 2021, at Oakey’s South Chapel with the Rev. Sam Belisle officiating. Interment will follow at Bandy Cemetery in Roanoke County. The family will receive friends from 1 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Oakey’s South Chapel.
