Frankie “TuTu” Johnson Jr., age 23, departed this life January 9, 2021. He was born November 17, 1997 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Tamara Dower and Franklin Johnson Sr.

TuTu was a loving son, he was very compassionate and cared deeply for his family and friends. He was a gentle giant that had a contagious smile. He enjoyed playing video games, drawing funny characters and writing amazing stories. He was a hard worker that never missed a day of work! His family called him eccentric and silly as he just wanted to make people laugh. TuTu was an old soul that loved to listen to old school music of all genres; rap, rock & roll, and R&B. "Easy" by The Commodores was his favorite song!

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Lola and Franklin D. Johnson; Mustafa Shabazz; and aunt, Mona Johnson.

TuTu will be greatly missed by his family: mother, Tamara Dower; father, Franklin (Denise) Johnson Sr.; grandmother, Phillis Dower; siblings, Brittany (Jarrell) Todd, Danielle, Amara Johnson, Dayshea Curry, Ibn Mikail Abdulahad and Cameron Johnson; nieces, Zaniyah, Saniyah Abdulahad, and Jaelle Todd; nephew, Zaiir Abdulahad; aunts, Takira (Ben) Marshall, Takisha (Jessica) Dower, Lynette (Malik), Cynthia Walker; uncles, Christopher and Abdul Johnson; best friend, Justin; and a host of additional nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
