Billy Eugene Nelson, 82, of Princeton Avenue, Bluefield, WV, passed away hon Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

Born on October 18, 1938 in Rocky Gap, VA, he was a son of the late Albert and Mollie Lambert Nelson. He was a US Army Veteran and had formerly worked for UPS, the Driggs Company and Lamberts Wrecker Service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Hampton Nelson; a daughter, Theresa Lowman; and siblings, Josephine Keith Archie Nelson Ethel Wynn and Alton Nelson.

Survivors left to cherish his memories include his children, William (Dana) Nelson of Princeton, Robert (Karen) Nelson of VA, Angie Fife of VA, Heather (Michel Lawson) Nelson of Bluefield, Hayley Fife of Bluefield; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his sister, Winnie Blankenship, whom he loved; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 4:00 PM at the First Christian Church on Straley Avenue in Princeton with Pastor Steve Janning officiating.
