Linda Jo Stewart was born on September 15, 1939, in Brownwood to Aubrey and Dosia (McBride) Stewart. She graduated from Brownwood High School in the class of 1958. Linda also attended Howard Payne University, where she graduated with a degree in teaching. She taught school for a short period of time.
Linda is survived by her cousins, Bill Stewart and wife Bertha and Troy Stewart.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sisters, Rebecca Payne and Peggy Stewart
