Willie worked for Econ Rail as an heavy equipment operator for over 30 yrs were he retired. During Willie's spare time you would find him at his home away from home “The Lot”. The Lot was a very special place were memories were made amongst family and friends. You would see Willie sitting in his car or chair with his friends just talking the talk and having a good ole time. The Lot has lost a legend but legend will continue.
We were blessed to have many valuable lessons from Willie "Joe" Fisher during his 80 years amongst us.
Willie is preceded in eternal life by James Fisher, Timothy & Milton Morris, Linda Harper, Albert, Freddie & Annie Fisher, and John Walters.
Willie leaves behind his loving and supportive wife Juanita Fisher. He also leaves to mourn and cherish his memories, his children Willie Fisher III of Kansas City, KS; Thomas “Don” Fisher(Vivan) of Dumas, AR; Henry Morris, Lee and Joey Fisher all of Port Arthur, Tx; Stephanie Fisher-Reese (Elvis) of Orange Tx; and Shinita Fisher of Port Arthur, TX. He also lives behind to mourn his loss two brothers Garland Fisher(Verlean) of Maumelle, Ar; Elzie Fisher of O’Fallon , IL and one sister Glory Jean Solmon of O’Fallon, IL; 23 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews family and friends.
