g-g-Gramma Elizabeth's middle name may be Susan, but so far I have only seen it on some familysearch trees. When we have a source I can add her middle name.

according to other researchers these are Elizabeth's parents. And the proof so far looks good to me. And now we see that she had a sister, Martha Ann who married the eldest brother of Morrison, Richard Lee.

Morrison Mitchell joined the Union Army.
2 cousins, George/Madison had already joined the 27th Mounted. The date is April 1861.. then I have been told by our military expert that the widow, "Elizabeth Lee was paid $50 for the horse that Morrison took with him and $10 for the tack."
This has not been found.

She died 3 months after their last son Richard Morrison Lee was born. If this is true, and it looks like it is because I find my g-gramma
Levisa, age 14 on the 1870 census Bowling Green, living with neighbors. and then in Nov. 1872, age 16, she married William H. Taylor. They had 12 kids. They moved the family to Indian Terr. Choctaw Nation, Oklahoma, 1900. And then in 1910, 5 of their kids moved back to Pettis and lived together, leaving Mom/Dad in Oklahoma.

Mary Ellen, I have found that she raised their baby brother Richard and she married John Henry Comer and moved to Oregon, she and her husband are buried in Oregon.

Richard stayed here. See his life story on his memorial ..

Fall in Pettis. 1880 census James/Emma are living in Bowling Green with a new baby. Lawrence age 3 months. 1900 he is still in Bowling Green with Emma and 9 kids. 1920 James/Emma are still in Bowling Green, own their land and have a 10th child, Kenneth born 1904 and the only one living with them. 1930 James is still living on his farm in Bowling Green and the only one with him is his sister-in-law Nora Gordon. On the same page and in the same neighborhood are: Lawrence his eldest son and down the road a way is his other son Noah and family. Next door to Lawrence is the Fall family, probably the parents or kids of Emma Fall-Lee, his Mom.
Emma died 1928 and James died 1934.
James memorial #22212526 & Emma's is 22212525 by "Coleah"
not linked to his parents............they also had a daughter Dovey Ann died age 18 (1900) as per Coleah...

We know the date of death for Morrison Mitchel is correct because of his military record. "5 Nov. 1861." So Morrison never saw his baby son. They left 5 kids orphaned.
