Memorial services for William James of 95 Irving st., Cambridge, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Christ Church, Cambridge. Burial will be in Cambridge Cemetery.
He was the son of Harvard's famed philosopher, William James and was, himself, graduated from Harvard in 1903.
A student of the Museum of Fine Arts School and of Julian's Academy in Paris, he later taught at the Museum school from 1913 to 1924 and was its acting director from 1936 to 1938.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Brush Pierce James; and two sons by a previous marriage, William and John.
