Ms. Sherrie Ann White, age 63 years, a resident of Philippi, departed this life Wednesday January 27, 2021 at her residence. She had been declining in health but death was unexpected.
She was born March 22, 1957 at Morgantown, WV, a daughter of the late Richard "Red" and Gloria "June" Gidley White.
She is survived by one daughter; Megan Burkhard and husband David of Philippi, three brothers; Joseph White of North Carolina, Red White, and Buster White both of Philippi. Additional survivors include three grandchildren; Max Walker, Roman Burkhard, and Willow Burkhard.
Sherrie attended school in Morgantown, West Virginia and was Protestant by faith. She was a licensed CNA and was also a homemaker. She loved to read and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Sherrie’s wishes for cremation was honored.. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements.
