Billy Lee Wright, age 79, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. A visitation for family and friends for Billy was held Monday, February 8, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Chapel of The Pines at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907. A Celebration of Billy Lee's life followed at 11:00 AM with Reverend Steve Weaver officiating.

Billy was born May 20, 1941 in Columbus, Georgia to Bessie Mae Livingston Wright and Henry Grady Wright. He was a life-long resident of Columbus. He graduated from Jordan High School and drove a delivery truck for Royal Crown Cola until his retirement. Billy was devoted to the Lord and his family and was an avid Alabama Tide football fan. Billy was a giver, whether it was money to someone in need or just good advice. Billy wasn't a big spender and was content with what he had and living for the Lord.

Billy's father, Henry Grady Wright, mother, Bessie Mae Wright, sister, Betty Sue "Janie" Wright Davis, brother, Richard Wayne Wright, and sister, Brenda Darlene Wright preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Glenda Charlene Wright Kingrey, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who cherish his memory.
