Ronnie A Parker, 78, of Lewisport went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 with his family by his side at The Heartford House. Ronnie was born on October 21, 1942 in Daviess County to the late Melvin and Ann Turner Parker. He was a member at Lewisport United Methodist Church, owner of Parker Transfer, a Kentucky Colonel and a Member of Lewisport Lions Club. He loved his family, horses, UK Basketball, flying, his dog Zip and his long-horned cattle. He was preceded in death by a sister Connie Powers, brother-in-law Charles Young and his dog Zip.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years Darlene Embry Parker; three daughters Jill Parker (Chris Hale), Julie Thomas and Melanie Parker (Mark Rust); six grandchildren Austin Boling, Dylan Thomas, Turner Whitten, Dakota Thomas, Journey Ward and Silas Rush; sister Joan Young and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday February 6, 2021 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport.
